Really amazing ! ! When during regular walk near D.I.G office, I saw Deputy Inspector General of Police, serving cold drinks to visitor in front of his office personally, consoling and assuring all assistance and co-operation on behalf of Police department to bring all alleged criminals before justice! !It was really an amusing and strange experience. I asked D. I.G the reason ? He politely explained in a gloomy mode as :-
“You know sometimes Police is too busy to respond on time – It is known to all that My Police department is always at high alert to maintain law and order, while bringing culprits to justice- The cause of visit of this person is: – Related Police officer is on rest after performing 48 hours duty. Naturally he could not attend complaint. You know we have made Pakistan a crime free state due to Police prompt actions , It is also known by all that Police is a “sign of terror” now for criminals as our department strictly rejects and Condemns “influence” “pressure” or “bribe”. That’s why every citizen trusts us. We have maintained law and order up to extent that even ladies feels “fear free” if roaming even mid-night , wearing kilos of gold anywhere in the country.
