In Pakistan, only the free, available entertainment source is T.V, which keeps public abreast about latest news. They are so efficient that a breaking news appear while stopping other programs like “Ice falls in Karachi “NOW ALL ALERT and watching how ice can fall in Karachi? Then the Anchor or news caster calls upon representative in Karachi to explain incident? The representative will start “Yes madam , a man was carrying ice in a shopper bag on cycle at Bolton market Karachi , Suddenly his shopper torn off due to some reason and all ice fell on road “!That is end of breaking news.
Presently, too many T.V channels are functional all over Pakistan providing all information “as it happens”, which is really appreciable. The most popular are the ‘Talk shows” hosted by certain Anchors. I am of the opinion that such straight forward, bold, courageous people are real assets and a gift from Allah Kareem.They raise bold questions to Government Representatives (Even Ministers/Prime Minister) and other political leaders, pointing problems, taking experts views, criticizing policies entirely for public information,(although of no use for public) These learned Anchors really enjoy, name fame and repute. To be honest ,their forum sets “ right or wrong versions”- I am also crazy for certain Talk shows , while always praying for long lives of hosts , I mean ANCHORS. I always appreciated their positive efforts, considering them “LIGHT TOWERS”. General public waits anxiously for their episodes (Talk shows)!!
Now look at the other aspects .All anchors , government ,political parties, public , unanimously agree against “DRONE ATTACKS” Interference of U.S.A inside Pakistan ,Presence of Black Water” inside Pakistan among many other sizzling issues , If they are right “THEN WHY A FEW (4/5)ANCHORS RECENTLY VISITED U.S EMBASSY IN PAKISTAN ? AND WHY”SPECIAL POSED” PHOTO SESSION WITH U.S EMBASSY PERSONAL”?? Generally such programs starts from 8 pm till 12 pm, when all are free and sitting in front of TV TO get rid anxieties and to refresh minds.

HEREUNDER is a sketch (example) how we are being entertained ? or tensed by these Anchors / Commentators & exclusive programs?

Suppose there are TEN popular TV channels in all over Pakistan and ten different Anchors hosting it .

Suppose there are TEN “political spokes person” all over Pakistan (Representatives from ruling or other political parties)

Suppose there are TEN experts or analysts, who comment over speeches, statements, or any political incident (I mean those who comes on phone line upon request of anchors)
SUPPOSE there are TEN legal experts in all over Pakistan.( some leading lawyers, retired judges , journalists , analysts, economic or crime experts)
JUST think , you are watching channel “A” .Your favorite Anchor is hosting session, while three other are sitting beside him side by side .One is from ruling party , second is from opposition , and third from any other political party – To start with , anchor will detail the issue , then a discussion will start in between three ‘ responsible political leaders”. They will blame each other and this forum will exactly present a scene of “fish market” under open bid. Meanwhile, Anchor will take some expert (retired judge . leading advocate, columnist etc ) on phone call ( it looks as if he was waiting only for this call)- A useless conversation will start and program time will finish – Anchor will say thanks to all individually , and that’s all ! ! What is the result of this long talk show? Was this to earn more money by means of displaying commercial adds by making people fool?? Sensible viewer will think themselves the “stupid of first water “
The viewer is too bore, he will switch from channel “A” to channel “D” – what a fun ! ! Same leaders—-same political representatives—— and very same ON LINE experts!! Only the change is: Anchor and the topic!!
Ohhoooo, what is this? Now the viewer again switches from channel “D”to channel “F”!! Same persons (from group of ten) same online persons, same fruitless comments and arguments!! Apparently these commentators look as if “hired”?
Did you ever notice that one from same group of “TENS” is found and available in all discussions (Only the channels differs) set of three will remain same @one each from each political party) apparently deputed and “hired or engaged” only for this purpose?

The question is: why only these persons are only available for political or other discussions? Why they are appearing repeatedly /regularly in every TV channels for same purpose, with same repeated opinions? Why no person from general public? Are they only the persons with “CALIBRE”? What REMEDY or solution they are delivering to public? What benefits / advice public at large getting? If aim is to keep people abreast, are they unaware what guide line they are giving to crying, heavily burdened, sizzling public? They will simply penetrate their ideas and views, into brains of general poor public, and themselves will go in some “enemy embassies or some 5/7 star hotels” to release tension with some other amenities. Only the benefit of these shows “high blood pressure for poor public, already desperate and sick, whereas it is enjoyment for anchors and the participants as a time pass with publicity . . .Did you ever see a single tensed face in these programs? Never, all participants are fresh, smiling faces and coffee mugs in hands. The ladies are wearing designer’s dresses, just coming from parlors!! Then what the hell is to disturb common poor people watching it?? If opposition or those in powers are helpless, what they expect from public?? Really we are fed up – Tired and depressed .These “TUBSRAS” are making people sick, rather psycho patient. The nation moral is at rapid decline. These programs may be a fun for certain people , but a constant unstopped mental tension for general public> when hear frauds of billions and trillions, when hear corruption amounts ( which they don’t know how much zeros stands in that AMOUNT)
What are the private activities of certain, Just visit and see boldness of our some well known anchors ,who speak extra loud against Drone Attacks , Black Water , Kerry Logor bill , etc.

THE GENERAL PUBLIC, INCLUDING ME , IS LEAST CONCERNED WITH :-

Who is ruling party and what is his “Manshoor”? What opposition is doing? What is 17th amendment? What is 58/2B? Whether the democracy is railing or de-railing? What are graphs of political parties? Whether America gives drone technology? Whether rental power projects are beneficial? Whether the”worst democracy” is better than dictatorship? Whether the collation will be successful? Who will get seat from 123 and 55? What will happen after 18th amendment? What will be the effects and results of N.R.O ? Who did more or less corruption? Too many topics like this whic heneously effects mind of public , encouraging to commit some crime ! !

WE POOR PEOPLE ARE WORRIED ONLY ABOUT :-

Who will guarantee for a “safer Pakistan”?
What will be fate and future our country? When our children will get cheaper education? When we will feel safe in open air? When we will get food items on cheaper price? When mothers will stop selling their children? When we will be able to ask Police help fearlessly? When corruption will end? When we will get justice in a reasonable time? When our children will get employments? When Hospitals services shall be provided at affordable rates? When we will get pure food and original medicines? When we will get electricity, gas, sugar, flour, and other “life living” products on affordable prices? When these armed robberies , murders , abductions , ransom crimes will end? When this LAND MOPHIA will be eliminated? When our political leaders will support justice and shall stand as symbol for same,leaving support of criminals?

May Allah kareem give you vision and power to suggest guide lines for viewers to solve problems, to heal wounds of public , to get solutions of problems instead of giving result as in “draw matches”-Please discuss” BURNING ISSUES, which this nation is facing at INDIVIDUALS base. Please End your programs with a salution (what public should do) Power, seat , richness , property , assets are temporary worldly luxuries – Only the act and actions are accountable in history , grave and in front of ALLAH .How richest people died ? who remebers ? But those who left sweet memories are in heart beat of public today even — PLEASE DO STUDY TURKEY HISTORT (1980 AND AFTER WARDS) You will get many lessons , that country also faced agonies , as today in pakistan.

Our main problem and agony is, that we are hypocrites , our acts differ from action , we do not do that what we say , we prefer worldly luxuries , we look for more , more and more with no moral or religious values .We speak in favor where we have hope to get some benefit . We remember “ALLAH” only when in severe problem , specially health , or when face some other serious situations like “seat in danger”
