Till 2002 , Pakistan was a peaceful and economically growing country where people had no fear of life, all public places were safe —and now the same Pakistan is under unstopped suicide attacks after 9/11 .2009 was the most bloodiest year , with a highly increased suicide attacks ,leaving too many orphans , widows behind while destroying trillions of dollar property .This country is facing 9/11 consecutively . rather better to say daily . When a person leaves home , looks at his nears and dears as “last look”. Life is very unsure, unsafe! None can claim he will come back house safe and sound .Hundreds or thousands of innocents has been killed , trillions of dollars property has been destroyed .Thousands of children became orphans , and same number is of widows . Business and industry is under serious decline! Even then Pakistanis are fresh, no depression, no fear. Terrorism is the hottest issue of the day and globally known. As we hear terrorist activity, suddenly mind splashes and reflects a “destruction scene” with no positive aspect or perception. All condemns formerly. Every “terrorist activity leaves long stories behind that , letting the victims to suffer for the rest of their lives , specially incases when only the earning members looses his life in same. Did terrorist ever think of the pains and miseries of bereaved families of victims? Surely never. After incident, some politicians or officials will release press statements announcing some relief while condemning this act, deputize some committee to investigate reasons and culprits along with loss estimation , will announce certain relief package , that’s all . Allah knows that relief is ever delivered or not.
Some describes as “the calculated use of unlawful violence or threat of unlawful violence to inculcate fear; intended to coerce or to intimidate governments or societies in the pursuit of goals that are generally political, religious, or ideological.” Within this definition, there are three key elements—violence, fear, and intimidation—and each element produces terror in its victims , whereas other says “Terrorism is the unlawful use of force and violence against persons or property to intimidate or coerce a government, the civilian population, or any segment thereof, in furtherance of political or social objectives.” Some also elaborates “premeditated politically-motivated violence perpetrated against non-combatant targets by sub-national groups , agents, usually intended to influence.
since the beginning of recorded history it can be relatively hard to define the origin of terrorism. It has been described variously ,may be a tactic and strategy to harass people Or to unstable government creating law and order to get some goal ; as a crime or a holy duty ? A justified reaction to oppression and an inexcusable abomination. Obviously, a lot depends on whose point of view is being represented. Terrorism has often been an effective tactic / weapon of the weaker side in a serious conflict. As an asymmetric form of conflict, it confers coercive power with many of the advantages. Due to the secretive nature and small size of terrorist organizations.
WHO ARE SUICIDERS?
Generally There are two ways to get suiciders . First : The so called religious leaders / clerics of that particular area known as “ religious and pious “ plays vital role to get suicide bombers , as some of them are running their religious institutions .They use religion as weapon , brain washes the innocent children by convincing them that they are going for a”sacred mission” OR contact the parents of children assuring them that they will also be placed at a top level in “sweet heaven” after death , as their child is going for a holly mission , a great accredited service for religion .They will manipulate the holly book wordings entirely for their ulterior motives to convince , secondly , the main and major factor is POVERTY (BELOW BOTTOM LINE) AND ILLITRACY.These so called clerics runs their own religious education centres , in which students are those whose parent can not afford them .Just as further incentive they gives handsome amount to parents while saying that they are lucky as their son has been selected by Allah kareem (NAUZ BILLAH) for this holly mission and those poor , who have never dreamed such amount , never ever seen in their life time , happily allows to participate for such mission , never knowing the ulterior motives. That child will be kept under vip atmosphere, means lavish food best dresses etc. A thorough investigation will reveal that all suicide bombers were in-between age of 13 years to 24 years , from a particular remote area where people are living much below to poverty line. These clerics are known all over that area so people believe and trust them. Their words stands message from almighty as people are too innocent , with zero literacy rate.
AIMS BEHIND SUICIDE ATTACKS :
Suicider , as individual does not know what he is going to do. He has fixed his mind that he is going to perform a religious duty by sacrificing his life and killing non believers, with an image that he is jumping into a sure “heaven”. So many suciders are noticed reciting holly versus a few moments before targeting goal.
The master minds (clerics or their supporters who are enemies of this country ) are of the opinion that they will create harassment, disturbance, lawlessness, panic and a fear in public to de-stabilize country. Their main core is to ruin industry and trade. They think that law enforcing agencies will be demoralized .Generally these master minds are being supported (financially and by weapons) by the enemies of that particular country because these master minds can never meet such huge expanses by any means. Supporters of master minds infact want to destabilize that particular country using these clerics and other paid agent
There are three perspectives of terrorism: the terrorist’s, the victim’s, and the general public’s. The phrase “one man’s terrorist is another man’s freedom fighter” is a view terrorists themselves would accept. Terrorists do not see themselves as evil. They believe they are legitimate combatants, fighting for what they believe in, by whatever means possible. A victim of a terrorist act sees the terrorist as a criminal with no regard for human life. The general public’s view is the most unstable. The terrorists take great pains to foster a “Robin Hood” image in hope of swaying the general public’s point of view toward their cause. This sympathetic view of terrorism has become an integral part of their psychological warfare and needs to be countered vigorously
SCENE – AFTER SUICIDE ATTACK?
Imagine , that you are at the place where terrorist blew himself. What will be scene ?
A family (father, son, wife, two girl children) are in a market for shopping as their uncle / aunty marriage is close by. Children are jumping in joy .At once a suicider blasts himself in the mob!! What will happen? All running for survival, none will look to other, parents do not know where are children , hue and cry all over ! ! TV will report certain numbers of casualties and injured persons — Now the relatives and friends of all families will rush to the spot .to search their love ones? After some time will come to know that parents dies leaving two small kids behind in a desperate condition , parents will cry as their only the earning source died in this incident ! Widow’s shrieks “who will take care of children”? Cripples will be afraid of their future as disabled to work! Who will feed those families whose only earning member died? What will be fate of orphans? Shopkeepers are deprived from food as their shops turns into ash .. Soon after , government will declare certain compensations which god knows , ever delivered or not? Politicians will release press statements condemning this incident while sitting in some dinner !
Terrorism is a criminal act that influences an audience beyond the immediate victim. The strategy of terrorists is to commit acts of violence that .draws the attention of the local populace, the government, and the world to their cause. The terrorists plan their attack to obtain the greatest publicity, choosing targets that symbolize what they oppose. The effectiveness of the terrorist act lies not in the act itself, but in the public’s or government’s reaction to the act.—BUT I would like to add more. When a powerful enters in house of a poor person for certain motive , that person is not in position to face him , so this situation arises., and same person will attack on the sources who are helping that trespasser , which is known as endless guerrilla war.
