If they start on Governance , to prove that no good governance is in Pakistan they will repeatedly ask questions from those who are always available for channels (one or other) ! You will always see the repeated faces on almost every channels, as if they are deputed or hired for same .INcase of non availability of “specified persons” they will invite some other anchor / analyst for discussion, In other words discussion is a Must .All leaders (except ruling party) are insisting that there is no governance in Pakistan, whereas ruling party is asserting that the best governance exists in Pakistan. .Unfortunately 95 % of people of Pakistan are unaware the meaning of “Governance” due to very low literacy rate. They only know the pronunciation of this word .Some innocent takes “Good Governance” as “Good Governor”.

This country is being ruled either by Democrats or Dictators, with absolute Powers. Right from existence no Government ever accepted responsibilities of miseries or mis-haps , but always blamed predecessors .Although accountability is the keynote as a must in Islamic character , but it is used only when the ruler becomes defunct. Generally it is exercised for political revenge, in the name of Fair justice or transparent accountability, This vital process is unknown as strange to rulers of Pakistan .No system in the world can be successful without the concept of “reward or punishment” . Just take example of Quran kareem , which is self explanatory about Reward and Punishment .This reward and punishment concept is described as “ACCOUNTABILTY” in our books only.Applicable to medicores or below middle class , specially living below poverty line. Elite class , Feudal Lords , establishments and bureaucrats are immune as exempted.

First time in Pakistan, in 1948 General Douglas the then Commander-in-Chief refused to obey the orders of the Head of the State , he was not held accountable for his disobedience , whereas he was liable for Court Marshal. The Head of the State should also be accountable for his deeds and misdeeds.

These professional politicians first achieve power, then misuse power, and finally abuse power and at end loose power — Then re-starts efforts to regain power. This is the process of Pakistan history from its existence. –No Democracy or Governance can be successful without making literacy rate high. When literacy rate will high people will start understand the worth of vote , when they will understand power of vote these professional kinship , family based politicians will disappear , the country will start a new phase towards progress.(That phase will start very close to dooms day)

Presently this country is being ruled by IMF / World bank and other “FIRNEDS” who decide the fates keeping us at beggar’s category. The Rulers are Puppets, dancing on same tunes played by the “Directors” behind the curtain. The loans are being used by Rulers making their bank balance more bulky, leaving burdens upon shoulder of the poor to pay in shape of “VAT” or other exorbitant taxes. Crime rate is increasing rapidly, approaching to anarchy. These are the salient traps of FRIENDS to enslave and weaken country.

This is an alarming situation .It is final round .Government must overcome financial and other crisis by curtailing their own unwanted expanses meeting within budget. All political parties must sit together in interest of Pakistan. Certain professional politicians are always found in cabinet repeatedly, who are ever prepared to join any Government (democratic or dictator) for their own personal benefits, including religious leaders.

The problems faced by country are:

Imposed , unwanted War on Terror, Huge IMF and Other international Bank Loans, Energy crisis ,Water crisis , unemployment crisis , exorbitant cost of living , Increasing suicide rate due to poverty , collapse of educational system , Nepotism , Terrible corruption at all levels , Increasing crime rate , No check and balance in any sphere ,”Might is Right” formula application , No leadership, Terrorist activities all over country , Target killing , Unstable Government , No Governance , Law less ness , Discriminatory laws , Over burdened judiciary , Alarming crime rate , Few people monopoly upon education , Unwanted politicians interference in law enforcing agencies matters , fall of Pak rupee , corrupt leadership, fake degree holders in Parliament (even PHD degrees) . Mockery is that illiterates can contest elections and vote for legislation ! !

Corruption is the main burning issue .All government and semi government organizations are in a race to make money in a shortest possible time. This is a gulf camel race in which the camel rider (public) is in embarrassing, terrible condition, while camel is running at full speed to loot money .What a sizzling situation!! What a mock! ! Those pious politicians delivering lectures on soul of Islam were found in severe corruption cases, evidently abusing power. The crowd of cabinet ministers, advisors, assistants to ministers, chairmen are unwanted economical burden. Pakistan’s cancer of corruption requires an immediate ruthless surgical operation. Accountability must be irrespective of personalities. I afraid , IF this process started by a Sincere Honest person , all system may collapse because ————Now a question arises , who will dare to start this process ?? say :who will tie bell in cats neck ? ?

The Feudal Lords.
The 2% of Pakistan’s population have been ruling this country in one form or the other .This very special creed is known as “ Gods own people” .They are above all laws , because they are sitting in cabinets and assemblies . Generally people know them under names as “vudairas”- “Industrialists”-Sardars. They have the “steering” of rest 98 % population .They can turn 98% lives into hell just by hoarding food only.They are “earthly Gods” No law applies upon them because Pakistan is their personal state.They are undeclared kings.Power Inheritance is a tradition (no fair or foul observed) After death of father son will be on board to rule. Sometimes it looks that Pakistan is a Tomb , and selected families are “Guddy Nasheen”.They fight for “Gudees” and Not for country ! This is fate of Pakistan since its existence.(excluding short era of Quaid-A-Azam or Liquat Ali Khan)

The sick industrial units and specially the textile units are a great economic liability on Pakistan. This liability is the result of collusion between the owners, the bankers and the politicians, instead of crying on the spilt milk now let us revive these units to increase the productivity of Pakistan, they may be taken over under the emergency laws, the Army Welfare Trust and Fauji Foundation are the finest examples of profit earning organization simply because they are bereft of any political influence. The Pakistanis living abroad may be invited to invest their savings in these units to be managed by a board under the management of AWT or Fauji Foundation. These units could prove to be huge foreign exchange earners in due course of time. Revival of economy is yet another item for the attention of our benevolent ruler. Let us reduce our imports to the minimum only, special items must be imported, luxury goods should be banned. Boost should be given to develop and enhance production through cottage and medium size industry; export of non-traditional items may also be given incentives and priority. If necessary the Industrial and Cottage Industry sector should be protected by government orders.

Every piece of agricultural land should be brought under the plough to relieve the country from the burden of importing wheat from America. Pakistan is invested with a potential manpower that are committing suicide for want of employment. They could be used to plough the vast uncultivated lands and also by re-activating the sick industrial units placed under a new and efficient management. The larger the number of people involved in nation building activities will result in increase in our production, hence the fruits of progress and prosperity could be shared by the nation at large, there is no dearth of efficient and honest people in Pakistan, of course there is dearth of sincere, honest and selfless leaders whose place has been usurped by the greedy politicians. This is the opportunity given by God to pack off such people as the Muslims of India have done during the course of their historic struggle for Pakistan. Let us not wait for another chance from Providence.

I would like to submit, beware of the loiters in the corridor of powers, they will sneak into . For norms, for forms, let fools contend whatever is best administered is best, democracy has never been the panacea of ills and evils of Pakistan .Let us dismiss hypocrisy and enhance democracy ( in it real sense and soul) by changing the process to measure our country’s law and order? Cost of living, commodities situations?

Now Young People should enter into , Taking charge of country while old and professional crook politicians should go behind the curtain , and make certain preparation for eternal life.

I am of the opinion that , Exercising power and making ontime decision, entirely in benefits of country and citizens is called governance. It happens everywhere – from urban centers to rural villages – and the well-being of a community depends on the choices made by people granted this authority. Because of the diversity of organizational structures around the world, people such as land lords, heads of associations, cooperatives, NGOs, religious leaders, political parties and of course, government are all actors granted the power to government.

“Good governance” is a relatively new term that is often used to describe the desired objective of a nation-state’s political development. The principles of good governance, however, are not new. Good governance is, in short, anti-corruption whereas authority and its institutions are accountable, effective and efficient, participatory, transparent, responsive, consensus-oriented, and equitable. These are the major characteristics of good governance as outlined by the United Nations.

The World Leaders at the 2005 World Summit concluded that good governance is integral to economic growth, the eradication of poverty and hunger, and sustainable development. The views of all oppressed groups, including women, youth and the poor, must be heard and considered by governing bodies because they will be the ones most negatively affected if good governance is not achieved.

For good governance to exist in both theory and practice, citizens must be empowered to participate in meaningful ways in decision-making processes. They have a right to information and to access.The Rulers must hear Public.They must know the needs of day, Hope some MASSEHA WILL SURELY COME.
